Free Drawing Worksheets for Kids — Printable Shape Practice

These free A4 worksheets help children start drawing with circles, rectangles and triangles. They include actual practice spaces rather than a polished final picture with missing steps.

How to use the worksheet at home

Print on A4 paper at actual size. Start by tracing or copying one circle. Add a pair of ears, two eyes and a mouth. Give your new character a name and one unusual feature.

Ask: Which shape did you start with? Which part was difficult? What would you change next time? A different but original character is a successful outcome.

How to use it in a classroom

Offer three choices: cat ears, rabbit ears or a new invented creature. Children who need support can use the outlined starting shape; children ready for more can add a background or write a two-sentence story.

Use safety scissors only if an adult chooses to extend the activity into paper cut-outs. No device is required for the basic worksheet.

Printing and access notes

These PDFs are free. They do not require an email, account, payment or child data. If a printer is unavailable, recreate the starting circle on scrap paper and follow the same instructions.

The sheet is for personal, home and classroom teaching; do not resell the AtFunky artwork as a standalone product.
