Try these together

Three creative projects, step by step.

01

Make an easy-to-read poster

Decide on one activity headline, the age it suits and three steps. Design a rough version, then ask a younger child what they understand.

Try asking: Improve the largest type first; avoid crowding the page.

02

Create a two-minute demo

Assign a greeter, materials helper and demonstration guide. Rehearse a project with a timer and simplify one step.

Try asking: Teach the activity, not just show an attractive finished result.

03

Build a feedback wall

Offer sticky notes for visitors to write “I tried”, “I changed” or “I want to learn”. Review anonymous responses together.

Try asking: Do not collect children’s names or contact details.

Beyond the fun

What children can practise

Teamwork, communication, visual hierarchy and time planning. The aim is to practise these habits, not to promise better marks or a specific profession.

Connect it to school

Presentation, maths budgeting and organising information.

Adult notes & age adjustments

Coordinate with teachers, use school-approved supplies and check venue rules. Only adults handle business contacts or any class enquiries.

Ages 7–9: display one project. Ages 10–12: plan a booth. Ages 13–16: improve information design using visitor feedback.

Ages under 7: enjoy the home activities with an adult; check Arts Film Academy’s published eligibility and current batches before enquiring. Contact information must be confirmed by the website owner.
